The Wey-South Path
A 36 mile (58km) walking route linking the North Downs Way and the South Downs Way following the towpath of the Wey & Arun Canal as closely as possible from Guildford in Surrey to Amberley in West Sussex.
The route offers a wide range of scenery through the greensand area of the Surrey hills and woods, before reaching remote areas of the weald and the lush water meadows of the upper Arun, finally arriving on the high chalkland of the South Downs Way.
The Wey-South Path book is published by W&A Enterprises Ltd, The Granary, Flitchfold Farm, Loxwood, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 ORH and is available by mail order. It is also available from most Sussex Tourist Information Centres.

The booklet details a walking route divided into the following six sections, well waymarked with metal discs showing the Wey-South Path symbol.
1. Millmead Lock to Run Common
2. Run Common to Three Compasses
3. Three compasses to Loxwood
4. Loxwood to Newbridge
5. Newbridge to Stopham Bridge
6.Stopham Bridge to south Downs Way
It also gives a brief history of the Wey & Arun Junction Canal and Arun Navigation and includes 12 circular walks of between 3 miles and 10 miles and all touching the canal and or Wey South Path at some point.
