Parham House and Gardens
Parham is a much loved family home set in the heart of an ancient deer park, below the South Downs. Parham is one of the country's finest Elizabethan houses and contains an important collection of needlework, paintings and furniture. In the top 20 of Simon Jenkins’s “England’s Thousand Best Houses” he describes it as ‘A House of Magic”.
The gardens consist of seven acres of Pleasure Grounds and a four acre Walled Garden. The award-winning walled gardens contain stunning herbaceous borders, greenhouse and vegetable garden. Its tranquillity and timeless beauty have changed little over the centuries.
Coffees, light lunches and afternoon teas are served in the Big Kitchen and a wide range of herbaceous perennials grown at Parham can be purchased from the Garden Shop.
