Rustington Museum is housed in a newly renovated Grade II listed, thatched cottage in the heart of Rustington village, opposite the Parish Church. The museum tells the story of the village through the ages with changing exhibitions featuring the many artists, musicians and writers that found inspiration in Rustington in days gone by as well as displays from early Roman and Medieval settlements right through to the First and Second World War.
Outside the museum is a community garden with a water feature, flowers and seating area for everyone to enjoy. This community project won a Sussex Heritage Trust Award in 2009. Opening Times: 10am - 4pm Tuesday – Saturday. Closed: Sunday & Monday. Admission: Free
