Getting there by Road

From London Victoria regular rail services run to destinations in West Sussex. Regular services run east through Brighton to Eastbourne and west to Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth and Reading. There are direct links to the West Country, South Wales, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Getting there by Air

Regular international, domestic and charter flights to and from London Gatwick in the north of the county. Heathrow is accessible by road, rail and coach link. There is a smaller regional airport at Southampton and Britain's oldest licensed airport with scheduled flights to France and The Channel Islands, is at Shoreham.

Coach Parking is off Via Ravenna, opposite the Westgate Centre. Coaches can park between 0900 and 1700 Monday to Saturday. £2.00 not exceeding 2hrs and £5.00 in excess of 2hrs. COACH DROP-OFF/PICK-UP POINT. There are 2 spaces clearly marked at the kerbside with yellow road markings and signposting situated on Marine Parade, on the seafront side, near The Lido, (west side of pier) within easy walking distance of the town centre. There is a 15 minute stopping limit between 0900 - 1800 with no return within 1 hour.

DAY COACH PARKING. Once you have dropped off your passengers you may park your coach in one of the 11 spaces marked at the kerbside with white road markings and signposting situated on West Parade, on the sea front to the most western end of the road. There is no limit to the stopping time between 9.30am - 7.30pm and no charge.

FREE OVERNIGHT COACH PARKING. There are 2 spaces clearly marked at the kerbside with yellow road markings and signposting situated on Marine Parade, on the seafront side, near The Lido, (west side of the pier) There is no limit to the time which can be spent here from 6.00pm - 9.00am and no charge.

There are 11 spaces available on West Parade (see day parking above). There are no restrictions between 7.30pm and 9.30am and no charge.

CHARGED OVERNIGHT COACH PARKING. Situated in the town centre at the secure NCP car park in Union Place, within walking distance of all the major hotels. The charge is just £10 per night, arrive any time after 6.00pm and leave by 8.00am. To pre book space tel: 0845 050 7085.
