Goodwood House combines the glamour of a great English country house with the warmth of a family home. It also provides a dramatic setting for one of the most significant private art collections in the country. The State Apartments, restored to their full Regency splendour, reflect the exoticism and opulence of this period.
Guided Tours
Guided tours of the State Apartments usually commence at 1.15pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.45pm, 3.15pm and 4pm and they last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. A guided tour will be of the State Apartments and Old House by one of our knowledgeable Glorious Goodwood Guides.
Afternoon Tea
No good day out is ever complete without enjoying a delicious cream tea. Open again at the beginning of March, until late October, enjoy an array of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and traditional English scones in the magnificent Ballroom. Served from 1pm – 4.30pm on Open Days. Last entry at 4pm. Pre-book now at £25 per person, including entry fee, or £29.50 on the day.

A group tour of the richly coloured State Apartments offers visitors a unique insight into the history of Goodwood House, which has been the family home of the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years.
