The Museum is a wonderful place to visit at Easter. From our traditional Easter weekend to Easter holiday family activities – there’s something for everyone!
EASTER WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Good Friday 30 March – Easter Monday 2 April 2018
Our traditional Easter activities vary daily from Good Friday to Easter Monday and include Easter cooking in the Tudor kitchen, egg painting, bonnet making and a traditional Bonnet Parade on Easter Monday. The Bayleaf farmstead and Winkhurst Tudor kitchen offer an impressive backdrop to our Easter activities, which begin with the traditional Good Friday Bake.
Take part in our Easter trail around the Museum site for a chocolate prize!
Easter marks the start of our main season, when the longer days and warmer weather can be enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of our 40-acre site in the South Downs National Park.
EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Tuesday 3 April – Friday 13 April 2018
Easter holiday activities take place daily from Good Friday 30 March to Sunday 13 April 2018. Try craft activities and play traditional games. If the weather is kind, take a wagon ride for a small donation to the Museum. You can also see our heavy horses, as well as Southdown lambs and sheep, our working oxen and other traditional farm animals.
