The Museum’s festive market offers superb value for money, with a reduced entry price to both the Museum and Christmas Market of just £8 per adult. Children (0-17 years), disabled and Annual Members enter free. The Museum’s buildings, including its magnificent Court Barn and award-winning Downland Gridshell building, will be bustling with stalls and visitors can browse and buy from over 150 traders selling arts and crafts, food and drink, handmade gifts and much more.
There will be plenty of tasty seasonal treats to try and buy and, while you’re looking for that perfect gift, you can enjoy live music and entertainment from musicians and choirs performing around the Museum site – all adding to the festive atmosphere. Why not warm up with some mulled wine or cider, or hot chestnuts while you browse?
Don’t miss the Museum’s Christmas Gift Shop, where you can find a broad range of gifts, treats and stocking fillers.
The seasonal fun doesn’t stop once visitors have finished shopping as there is a lot to see and do. Explore the Museum’s 40-acre site and visit 17th century watermill, feed the hungry ducks on the mill pond, greet the Museum’s heavy horses and meet the visiting donkeys.
The Museum’s waterside café will be open serving meals, snacks and sweet treats. Please note that, due to their age, some buildings have limited wheelchair access and some stalls are in first floor locations. Dogs on leads are welcome but please consider their comfort as this event is crowded. Free parking is available in the Museum’s overflow car park field. The Museum operates a non-smoking policy in all areas apart from the car park.
