Weald & Downland Living Museum

Family Twilight Tale Trail at Weald and Downland Living Museum

Thursday 23rd August 2018
6.30pm – 8.30pm

Join us for an evening at the Museum, listening to folklore and historical tales of mysterious places, magnificent creatures and magical adventures!

Suitable for ages 7+, accompanied children will join a small group, guided by one of the Museum team, to walk to different spaces to hear five twilight tales.

Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance. Tickets will be on sale in February 2018.

Please wear good shoes, expect to go up and down hill* and bring a torch to explore the buildings if you would like to.

Two stories will be told outdoors (and moved inside only if very wet) and the others will be inside, around an open fire, which may be smoky. There will be space to sit down and you will go around in a small group.

In one location you will be offered warm apple juice and warm flapjack to enjoy whilst listening to the story.

We ask everyone on this evening not to film or take photos of other participants or the storytellers. We encourage you simply to sit back and listen.

Meet at 6.30pm, for 6.45pm start. Lasts until c.8.30pm

Adults must be accompanied by a child responsible for them, and vice versa.

*Please chat to us in advance about any mobility issues, we will help if we can or can describe the route to you in more detail: 01243 811363 or office@wealddown.co.uk.
