Over the course of this weekend you can find out about the harvesting season, starting from June until the Autumn. Find out more about the time of the year that different produce is ready and the farming year in the past. Also we’ll look at different ways the harvest was brought in, mechanical and by hand. Following on from this, we’ll explore how the harvest could be preserved for winter months. Join informal 10 minute talks and chat to the demonstrators about their work.
