Sea Life Centre Brighton

Join the Octonauts in a brand-new Shark Mission this Easter and meet Shellington exclusively at SEA LIFE Brighton

30th March – 22nd April

SEA LIFE will be recruiting young ocean explorers to take part in an all-new, deep-sea adventure this Easter as Octonauts: Shark Mission launches at SEA LIFE Brighton.

Come face-to-fin with SEA LIFE Brighton aquarium’s own fascinating family of resident sharks, solve the mind-bending puzzles of the mystery tanks and take part in a meet and greet with Shellington and Kwazii, exclusive to SEA LIFE Brighton.

Find out which sharks can live to be 400 years old, which sharks can smell a single drop of blood in an Olympic size swimming pool and why some sharks have skin as rough as sandpaper.

Visit our Octonauts art zone, take a special dive of discovery with Dashi and follow instructions from Captain Barnacles to make a shark puppet. Honorary Octonauts and their families can capture their special day in the Octonauts photo area for a treasured memento of their magical marine expedition, while all children will receive a personalised certificate with Captain Barnacle’s stamp of approval.

There’s also plenty on offer for older kids, couples and adults, taking a whimsical trip through the 360-degree Ocean Tunnel, exploring the marine world upon the UK’s first glass bottom boat and interactive rock pools brimming with weird but wonderful creatures, including starfish, featured in Sea Life Brighton’s dazzling new creature installation, Sea Stars.

Featuring more than 170 sensational sea dwellers from across the world, Sea Stars is the UK’s largest celebration of the ocean’s most visually captivating, and most important creatures, the humble ‘star fish’. Not just a home to a host of enchanting creatures, visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn about the vital role that ‘star fish’ play in the ocean’s eco-systems and why they are often referred to as ‘keystone species’ in their habitats.

Octonauts: Shark Mission is included in SEA LIFE Brighton’s usual admission price, with tickets starting from £10.50 per person when pre-booking online atwww.visitsealife.com/brighton. Parent and toddler tickets are £13.50 and available for the final week of the event and all term time weekdays.
