Living History Weekend 14th-15th April

Commemorating the 950th Anniversary of Arundel Castle’s initial construction in 1068. Find out what it was really like to live at the Castle in the early Norman period in this absorbing two-day event.

Set on the American Lawn at Arundel Castle, this day will be an opportunity to meet historical characters who will bring the past to life. With the Yarnsmith of Norwich Story Teller, have-a-go fencing, archery, a Medieval skittles alley, a face painter and a chance to see reconstructed clothing, weapons, armour and crafts from the past, there is plenty to entertain visitors of all ages.

With weaponry, armour and combat demonstrations, there is something to inform and entertain visitors of all ages.
