25 & 26th June 2018
Based here at the beautiful gardens of Parham House, students will learn the technical tools to create their own garden photographs at a professional standard. The grounds of the four-acre Walled Garden, vegetable gardens, orchard and herbaceous borders at Parham provide a beautiful canvas for artistic inspiration. This course will involve both classroom and work in the field. Students will be encouraged to develop their own ways of visually interpreting a garden through individual style.
The Two Day Workshop includes an introduction to the technical aspects of photography including the use of Adobe Lightroom to process and edit photographic images. Methods of photographic presentation and preservation will be explored. Students will spend two days in the Gardens at Parham with Elizabeth gaining practical experience whilst working on short assignments as well as creating their own new garden portfolios.
Both Photographers and Garden Designers are welcome on the course.
