Finding an activity that is fun, unique and challenging for young people is often difficult, and
if you include ‘educational’ it might seem rather impossible… At Butser Ancient Farm we
believe we have mastered that combination!
Warrior Camp is designed for 8-14 year olds to see what life was like for young people two
thousand years ago, and what challenges they would have faced. Kids will have a go at
dealing with them using modern materials, and each day is designed to answer a different
set of challenges, while the whole week links together to form a fantastic summer
experience.
The week is practical with a real emphasis on learning new skills and developing them as a
team. Ancient people were completely reliant on working together, so there is a definite
emphasis on teamwork and communication.
Book the whole week and get one day free! £45 a day or £180 for the week (please note
discount applies once you have selected all five days) – or book before 31st March to

warrior-themed bushcraft style activity week.

Friday – Raft
10am – 4pm with extended hours available if needed (at £4 per hour). To book extended
