Stroll along the Cuckmere river or into the nearby South Downs for the chance to enjoy the slower pace of life that seems to be infectious around this area.
Situated in the South Downs National Park, the Seven Sisters Country Park is made up of 280 hectares of chalk cliffs, meandering river valley and open chalk grassland. It is a popular place for a number of outdoor activities including walking, birdwatching, cycling and canoeing. Or if you simply want to take in the surroundings relax at Saltmarsh cafe and rooms, located behind the visitors centre.
The Country Park is named after the famous Seven Sisters chalk cliffs on one of Britain’s finest unspoilt coastlines.
There’s plenty to do and see for families. Visit Drusillas Park for the best day out in Sussex and you can join Hello Kitty and hundreds of zoo animals. Enjoy family friendly walks through bluebell woods with Arlington Bluebell between April and May, plus a trip to the farmers’ market.
